Western Suffolk Student Career Opportunity Fair

  • The Performing Arts Center at Walt Whitman High School 301 W Hills Rd Huntington Station, NY 11746 United States (map)

WHAT TO EXPECT:

This is not a job fair. Whether your plans after High School are to go to college or get a job right away, come learn about careers. This is an opportunity for you to learn about future careers, at all degree levels, and what you need to do to get there.

Students, Parents, and Educators are welcome!

Upon arrival, attendees will have an opportunity to browse the demo fair, an interactive room where companies based on Long Island can showcase what they make, and attendees can better understand all the industries (and future jobs) available on Long Island.

Then, a panel discussion will kick-off between executives from Long Island's leading companies, including Northwell Health, Estee Lauder, Intelligent Product Solutions, BAE Systems, and the Long Island Building Trades. The panel is being moderated by Dan Pashman, James Beard Award Winner and Host of "The Sporkfull" Podcast and Cooking Channel's "You're Eating it Wrong."

Following the panel, attendees will have an opportunity to connect with companies in our employer breakout rooms. This is an opportunity to understand educational and career paths of the employer representatives, and ask your own questions.

We look forward to seeing you there!
